Father-this word has a great significance when it comes to relationships, although the prime position is reserved for mother. While nothing is equal to mother's love for her children, as rightly said by Nostradamus, father is a person to whom his growing daughter will be his world. But, what's wrong with fathers in the country today, is the question that has been engaging an average man's mind and apparently sending chills down the spine of a girl after going through a series of news on attacks on women by their fathers. Flip through the pages of newspapers and at least one news would appear on father raping daughter or father killing daughter for eloping etc. Where are we heading to? Are we in a technology era for sure? While is it that women's safety is at toss in the country?
A French diplomat in Bangalore apparently turned as a real ghost to a little girl who could not even express her pain in the form of words when the psycho father unveiled the cruel acts. And when the case was still on, another father entered newspapers' space as he burnt his 20-year-old sweet daughter mercilessly. The agony she experienced when the huge flames ate her flesh was presumably very low compared to the pain her heart received on knowing that her own father, who should be acting like a shield, was enjoying when she was turning down to ashes. This is not the case with just two fathers, time and again such horrifying acts are coming to light and leaving many people distressed!
The morally challenged fathers who eat the lives of their daughters should not be spared even in jails. Yes, an eye for eye is not always the solution. But an eye for a pinch should be the punishment. If a daughter complaints her father pinched her, he should be hanged to death, then only the psycho fathers would dare not to even think ill about their daughters. But, unfortunately no daughter would complain even when her father ill treats her.....because daughters are always sweet!
