MDLR executive detained in Geethika Sharma's suicide case

Mandeep an executive of MDLR airlines was detained on Wednesday following the investigations in the suicide case of former employee Geethika Sharma. Mandeep had traveled from Sirsa to Delhi for the investigation.

It was found that the sim card that the Haryana minister Gopal Kanda had used to make calls to Geethika Sharma was registered under his name.
Gopal Kanda the prime accused in the case has managed to successfully escape the police till date. He was supposed to appear at the Ashok Nagar police station for formal interrogation but he had failed to do so. Police have also sent legal notices to his lawyers that he should be present for the questioning before Wednesday evening.

Gopal Kanda was mentioned in the suicide note that Geethika wrote prior to her death and following which the minister had resigned after the opposition's outcry. Geethika's family has alleged that he had been harassing their daughter mentally. Aruna Chadha, the senior official of MDLR airlines was also questioned.
