Mulayam reacts against "anti-Islam material" on Facebook

Samajwadi party's chief Mulayam Singh Yadav was not happy with the "anti-islam material" that is being posted and popularized on Facebook, the number one social networking site. He said that he would raise the issue and discuss measures to prevent such material being posted on the social networking sites as it is hihgly objectionable. He also said a law should be passed forbidding the same.

Samajwadi Party, the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh, was determined to prevent the obscene posts on Facebok and he also wanted to ensure that the same issue should be raised in Parliament. He has made a statement after he learnt of the happenings from his counterpart in Mumbai, Abu Azmi, the party president in the city.

He told the SP chief that there have recently been obscene posts that could hurt the feelings of Muslims in the nation. Abu also submitted a letter to the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, R R Patil and asked him to act against such posts on Facebook. Along with this letter he also sent a letter to the UP Chief Minister to enforce proper measures using his powers to put and end to such activity on Facebook.
