Akhilesh Yadav Confirms Lone Battle in Polls:- After Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati revealed that they would go for solo in the elections, UP leader Akhilesh Yadav too confirmed that his party would go for solo fight in the 11 seats of polls. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that they are well prepared for battling alone in the polls and are not keen on taking someone's support. Uttar Pradesh is heading for by-elections and BSP, SP would part ways and would head for lone battles.

Mayawati said that it is not a permanent break but for this time they are in plans to part ways. "We may soon work together" confirmed Mayawati. Right after the statement from BSP came, SP too confirmed the news. Mayawati even said that their relations are beyond politics and will continue forever. Speaking about the recent defeat, Mayawati said the Yadav community in the state did not support them because of several strong SP leaders are badly defeated. BSP and SP contested in 38 constituencies and they won 15.
