The Delhi High Court on Wednesday ordered Congress leaders and former AP Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari to give the blood sample for DNA test in the paternity suit filed against him by a youth.

The court earlier said the police can intervene and take blood sample in case he doesn’t co-operate. Now, the judges (on getting no response from ND Tiwari) set a deadline for the blood sample. The new deadline is May 21. By May if ND Tiwari doesn’t give blood sample, the police will collect the sample from his forcefully. Along with ND Tiwari’s sample, the petitioner’s sample and his mother Ujwala’s sample would be collected.

We have to see whether ND Tiwari will give blood sample on his own or invite police to his residence. (Phani)
