One such film that is being the talk of Telugu Cinema industry right from the day it has been announced, to the Audio launch, to the pre promotion of the film and now on the release day today, is Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Dhada’. Since the title of the film itself suggests ‘Dhada’ is a complete action – mass entertainer, with an element of love also being highlighted in it? The Movie is been released today, with much of expectations from Chaitu’s fans, who have predicted even this film to be a success, just like Chaitu’s consecutive successful films earlier, titled ‘100% Love’ and ‘Em Maya Chesaave’. Moreover, the pairing of Chaitanya and Kajal agarrwal in the film, itself became a talk. Weather ‘Dhada’ turned out to be a block buster or just met the expectations of the audience, read further;

Story:

Vishwa (Naga Chaitanya) and Rajeev (Sriram) are brothers who are in lots of love and respect for each other. Vishwa who is a guy who believes in living in today and in the due course falls for a multi millionaire's daughter Rhea (Kajal). Then Vishwa happens to save a girl from a set of a ‘Bad Boys’, that turns out to be affecting the Huge business of human trafficking run by RD (Rahul Dev) and Kelly (Kelly Dorjee). Then, all these Villians are in search for Vishwa. Then come certain twists and turns in this process. Now, weather Vishwa comes out of this, get married to his love Rhea, or what would be the end?  All this has to be seen on screen.

Analysis & Performance:

Debutant Director, Ajay Bhuyan, who made his directorial debut in Telugu, with the film ‘Dhada’ worked on the film to be projected as a very different story and a different screen play too. But, the essence and the freshness in the story and in turn the overall film, is missing some how. The main star cast, Naga Chaitanya and Kajal Agarrwal worked their level best to portray their characters in a natural way. Though Naga Chaitanya tried his level best to project himself as a completely transformed Hero, showed a positive improvement in dance performances, looks and Action sequences, and also showcased himself as a Matured Actor, all this hard work of his, turned out to be not so fetching for the success of the film. Kajal agarrwal did not suit the character, at all. The actress, who tried for an image make over, proved to be a disaster; it could be in terms of her looks or the performance that is not so appealing. Rest all characters did their level best.
The Music scores of the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad are good. The Action sequences, the first half, the song sequences and some scenes, put together here and there, turned to be a savior for the film. The second half of the story, and the climax, proved to be a major negative. The Cinematography work, the production values of the film are to be appreciated. The Editing seems to be okay.
Over all, ‘Dhada’ seemed to be just like any other film, not much of elements new in this flick.

Final Word:

‘Dhada’, does not create ‘Dhada’ for the audience!
