Vacuum your face for glowing skin November 28, 2013 18:36

From blood facials to vacuum cleaners, when it comes to beauty, celebrity Kim Kardashian definitely leaves no stone unturned. So if you too dream of a flawless complexion like hers, make sure to vacuum you face for that extra glow. And no, we ain't joking! Vacuum treatment is a beauty process where in a vacuum tube or cup is put on the face and gently moved over the lymph nodes, draining out the impurities, cutting cellulite and boosting circulation. "Circulation not only nourishes the skin by improving oxygen supply, it also helps remove metabolic waste products, breaks up fat adhesions (cellulite), opens blocked lymphatics and plumps up under-developed or hollow parts of the body,” says Dr Apratim Goel, a noted cosmetic dermatologist and laser surgeon. “Also, this stimulates fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen), which firm the skin. It is also known to stop hair loss and stimulate hair growth. However, the reverse treatment, high-pressure jet spray, is also in vogue and is a buzzword in the cosmetic industry today," he adds. If you are looking to rejuvenate your skin, remove your blackheads or just look your radiant best, your vacuum cleaner could be really handy. AW: Suchorita Dutta Choudhury
