Tokyo Olympics 2021: PV Sindhu storms into the Semi-finals:- Indian top badminton player PV Sindhu stormed into the semi-finals in the Tokyo Olympics after she defeated Japan's Akane Yamaguchi (21-13 and 22-20). PV Sindhu won the first set quite comfortably and the second set happened to be a thriller. PV Sindhu will face Tai Tzu Ying or Ratchanok Inathon from Thailand in the next battle. Indians lauded her efforts and wished PV Sindhu all the best for the upcoming matches. "It is not over yet, but I am happy" told PV Sindhu. She said that she is thrilled with the victory and she was not nervous after she was trailing in the second game. PV Sindhu made a terrific comeback and she is quite confident on the upcoming matches keeping the rivals aside.

PV Sindhu looked quite slim and fit and never offered a chance for the opponent. There are talks that PV Sindhu will face Tai Tzu Ying of China in the semi-final. The Indian talented badminton player said that she is completely focused on the semifinals for now. Chenu Yufei and He Bingjiao from China will fight in the other semifinal as per the update. There would be a bronze medal match between the losing semifinalists for badminton in the Olympics.
