Karthi To Play A Crucial Role In Yatra?:- YSR Biopic has been titled Yatra and the shoot of the film is taking place in and around Hyderabad. Mahi V Raghav is the director and Malayalam Superstar Mammootty has been asked to reprise the role of the legendary politician in this biopic. There have been several speculations about the role of YS Jagan and Tamil actor Suriya has been in talks for the prestigious biopic. However the latest news is that Suriya walked out of the film after he could not allot dates for Yatra.

Right after Suriya rejected the offer, Karthi has been contacted and the makers got an immediate nod for the biopic. Though it is a short role, Karthi will have enough prominence and he gave his nod. Karthi will shoot for his part during September informed a source. Jagapathi Babu already signed the film which is produced by 70mm Entertainments. Yatra has been slated for release during Sankranthi 2019.
