Suriya’s 24 movie has hit the screens yesterday and has garnered the blockbuster talk right after the first show.

Suriya in his recent interviews said that he is not interested in doing the heroic kind of films like Rajinikanth and Pawan Kalyan, whom the audience remember their stardom, more than their movies.

The Kollywood star said that, he got inspired watching Kamal Haasan movies, and always wanted to get identified like him, in a variety of characters.

Along with doing heroic films like Singham series, Suriya even did experimental subjects like Gajini, 7th sense, Brothers etc. But except Gajini, none of his experimental attempts went well.

Finally it is now, the actor got the bang he was waiting for, since long. The movie was declared to be a huge blockbuster and most of the reviews gave 4 rating for the 24 film.

Being Suriya’s first production venture, and that too his favorite genre, 24 movie success has become so special for him.

Directed by ‘Manam’ fame ‘Vikram K Kumar’, the movie has Samantha and Nitya Menon as the female leads and is produced under the 2D Entertainment banner.
