She would be soon working under the direction of Mani Ratnam in the K – Town film titled ‘Pookadai’, in which K – Town’s once most known Hero Karthik’s son Gautam is playing a lead role. Lakshmi is said playing a pucca village girl in the film. Confirming on the same, Lakshmi said, ‘I have launched a bilingual film starring my younger brother Manoj in it. I have just signed a film under the direction of Mani Sir, when I was during the launch of my home production in Chennai. I am proud to be working under the Direction of Mani Sir. I have grown up watching his films and till date have a fantasy watching his directorial like ‘Geetanjali’ and ‘MounaRaagam’. I am as of now, working on correcting my diction according to the role I am playing in this film’, said Lakshmi who was all smiles announcing her new found success.
