Sensational director Puri Jagannadh is on board as the director and Liger is a sports drama and Vijay Devarakonda essays the role of a boxer. He even gained a ripped and lean boxing look for the role. Bollywood beauty Ananya Pandey is romancing Vijay Devarakonda in this actioner and the shoot of the film resumed today after a year.

The makers today announced that Liger will hit the screens on September 9th in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The shoot of the film will be completed in Mumbai and a schedule is planned in Bangkok. Manisharma is the music director and Bollywood top producer Karan Johar is presenting Liger on Dharma Productions banner. Liger is made on a big-budget and is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee on Puri Connects banner. Vijay Devarakonda is in plans to complete the shoot of Liger by April and move on to his next project.
