Liger Distributors Sets Up a Protest Camp:- Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Liger was a disaster at box office. The movie was made on a lavish budget of 100Cr with Mike Tyson as a special appearance and Ananya Panday as the lead actress. Karan Johar and Charmee Kaur produced the film under Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. Liger with very bad reviews and mouth talk turned out to be the biggest dud in Vijay's career.

Movie distributors were left with huge losses as Liger was sold for hefty prices. Movie exhibitors requested director Puri Jagannadh and the makers to refund their amount as they incurred huge losses. Puri Jagannadh promised to compensate the amount in six months, which dint happen. Now, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi film is gearing up for release and Puri Jagannadh going to start his film with Ram Pothineni. Distributors thought this is the right time and set up a protest camp against Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh at the Film chamber demanding to compensate for their losses.
