World Pawanism Day crosses all cultural boundaries

World Pawanism Day, announced to be celebrated on 11th October every year henceforth, is a day when people from all religions and cultures can come together and unite for what they admire in Pawan Kalyan. Each fan has his/her own favorite quality that they find inspiring in Powerstar. Now, there is a special day to express their love.

Since the day his first film 'Akkada Ammai Ikkada Ammayi' released to the day 'Attarintiki Daredi' hit the screens with a bang, Pawan mania crept slowly but steadily into every corner of the world. In the year 1996, Pawan Kalyan debuted as an actor. It is on that very day Pawanism took shape. Rising from strength to strength, the mania came to be expressed as Pawanism for being inspirational to millions.

It is hard to pinpoint where it picked up speed. Pawan Kalyan, born as Kalyan Babu. is a trained black belt. His skills earned him the title of Pawan, which signifies Lord Hanuman. Where there is strength and protection, there Hanuman is present. Pawan Kalyan's actions too have started with careless aggression but soon transformed into generous, well-meant gestures that earned him much respect.

Pawan Kalyan has a caring heart and is a man of action. Even if one person is following someone's principles, such a man becomes an icon. And if thousands inculcate his ideas into their life, he becomes larger than life. Pawanism is a movement that gained momentum without actually planning it. On Pawanism day, fans say the status of being associated with Powerstar is more than any religion.
