There was a time when most of the Hindi movies are remade either in to Telugu or Tamil. But now, the time has changed and roles have become vice versa.

Bollywood is looking for new stories and has largely been dependent on Tollywood and Kollywood off late.

Salman’s ‘Wanted’ and ‘Ready’ are remakes of Telugu flicks Pokiri and Ready respectively. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathode’ is a remake of Telugu ‘Vikramarkadu’. And now, Aamir Khan is keen on remaking Prakash Raj’s ‘Aakasamantha’ which is dubbed in to Telugu from Tamil.

Sources confirm that Aamir has watched this movie and is very impressed with the story line and Prakash Raj’s role. Aamir will be playing the role of Prakash Raj.

Boney Kapoor will be producing this movie. When contacted the production house, they have confirmed that they are producing it, but are ruling out the news that Aamir is acting in this and say that casting is yet to be finalized.

Let us hope the versatile actor will be playing the role and see how he portrays that role of a 20 year old daughter and most interesting is who will be playing the daughters role in Hindi if Aamir plays the father role.
