Creative director Ram Gopal Varma will always be in news for saying something or the other. RGV who earlier said that he was a half-journalist came out with interesting line this time. He now says he is almost a gangster.

Right from Satya to the upcoming Department, Ram Gopal Varma has come up with such hard hitting subjects that probably other film makers don’t even dare to imagine. Ram Gopal Varma, in fact, is one such film maker who’s always in search of novelty in the film and to him only darker subjects appeal the best.

When asked as to why only the darker subjects, Ram Gopal Varma has said that simple persons and simple movies bore him. He said that he wanted to become a gangster and since he had no guts to become one, he had been making films on gangsters.

In response to a question whether his upcoming movie-Department becomes a hit or not, Ram Gopal Varma has said that his duty as a director was to make the best use of his abilities and success was something that’s not in his hands, he added.

Well, expectations are very high among film circles on his upcoming flick Department as Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt are going to appear together on silver screen after a long gap. (Phani)
