Well known Tollywood and Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma seems to be in trouble with TV channels telecasting news stories that he is likely to be interrogated on his links with Bhanu Kiran, the suspected killer of faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri.

There are reports that Bhanu Kiran paid Rs.40 Cr to Varma before the shooting for the movie ‘Raktacharitra’ began. Police are investigating to find out whether Suri ordered Bhanu to pay the amount or Bhanu paid it voluntarily to Varma.

It may be mentioned that Suri denied reports of making investments in ‘Raktacharitra’ on several occasions when media persons asked him about it. It is also learnt that Ram Gopal Varma and Bhanu Kiran were known to each other for a long time even before the ‘Raktacharitra movie. This information has forced the CCS police officials to take a look at the possibility of Bhanu making investments in Bollywood too through Ram Gopal Varma.
