Heroine Bhumika Chawla, whose marriage is rumoured to be on the brink with a divorce being filed by her, rubbished all reports of the collapse of the marriage and said her married life is fine by all counts.

In an interview to Mumbai-based daily ‘Mumbai Mirror’, Bhumika said that there is absolutely no problem with her husband Bharat Thakur and the marriage is going on well. “There are reports that I have filed for divorce but that is not true,” she said drawing curtains on her divorce rumours.

A popular English daily reported that Bhumika has filed papers in a Hyderabad court seeking divorce with her Yoga teacher-turned husband Bharat Thakur. It also added that Bhumika and Bharat have been living separately since March 2010.

Reacting to the report, she said one paper creates a story based on its whims and fancies and others too blindly follow it without verifying the facts. “I am staying in Mumbai attending to my mother as she was operated for a problem. I am very much attached to my mother and it is my responsibility to take care of her as there was no other person to help her. Do you think shall I always be with my husband without attending to any other important work?” asked the vexed heroine angrily.

Bhumika Chawla and Bharat Thakur were married on October 21, 2007 at Devlali, Nashik in a Gurdwara after dating for four years.
