Royal Challenge Batsman AB de Villiers played an sensational innings which made his team end on the winning side. His 89 of 41 balls and most importantly scored 24 runs in 19th over bowled by Dale Steyn was major turn around for the match.

RCB captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to field first. Aaron Finch and Lokesh Rahul were removed under first five overs. Sunrisers captain Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner hit back at RCB bowlers. Both posted a decent partnership and Warner completed yet another half century. SRH posted a total of 155 runs for the loss six wickets in the end.

In reply, RCB were never in the game. Though Chris Gayle blasted the ball in starting overs, he departed quickly. Virat went for a duck and Yuvraj is continuing his poor form.
