England Cricketers prevent man from suicide

England cricketers Stuart Broad and Matt Prior spotted an unknown man who was about to jump off a bridge in Darling Harbour, Sydney. They chatted with the unnamed man for an hour and finally he was prevented from jumping. Broad and Prior had been at a fund-raising event organised by the Barmy Army (England's fan club) before spotting the man.

Terry Minish the security officer of cricketers was present with them and he called upon New Southwales police to pass on the information. Speaking on Prior said, “We just did what anybody would do in that situation. It all happened very quickly and we acted on impulse.”
