MI lose by two runs against RCB

Bangalore yesterday managed to seize a game after being aided by a lot of luck as MI barely missed out a victory on homeground in their first stint in IPL 6. MI lost by two runs after Pollard failed to score 3 runs off the last ball in the game.

Bangalore finished the scores at 156/5 with excellent skills of Chris Gayle with the willow. RCB were completely dependant on the Jamaican who scored 92 runs off the bat pushing the score to a defendable 156. Though, MI had a great chance in the game, when they started scoring heavily off the bat until the end of 17th over.

Tides turned in the 19th over after the pace slowed down in the 18th over. Pressure mounted in the 20th with two back to back dismisals. Mumbai Indians had to score 10 runs in the final over, a definitely achievable target but they were denied luck and victory.

Today on the IPL 6 at 8pm local time Hyderabad Sunrisers will vie with Pune Warriors at the homeground, Hyderabad. Will the debuting rookies show the warriors who's the boss?
