Cheteshwar Pujara injured before Mohali test

Cheteshwar Pujara, the hero behind the second victory against Australia in Hyderabad received a blow to his knee that knocked him off the training session today, only a couple of days before the Mohali Test against Australia is due.

Playing against a local bowler, Pujara was hit on the knee after which he suffered a great deal of pain that forced him to take a rest from the net session. He also limped back to the bench immediately after the injury.

After receiving the medical attention, he didn't reel back into practice suggesting that the injury wasn't minor to be neglected. He left his knee strapped until the end of the session. He then walked back into the pavilion with his gear.

After a warm up session of Football, the team got together for the net session. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was seen playing only spinners as Pragyan Ojha and Harbhajan Singh bowled their best deliveries. Waiting for their maiden game, Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane, faced net bowlers practicing quite hard and productively. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had his share of the batting enjoying the deliveries from Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja.

Will Pujara's injury affect the game? Will it work in Australia's favor? Let's only hope it is minor!
