India’s ace women squash player for Dipika Pallikal has been promising ever through her career. Infact she got a major breakthrough when she grabbed the fifteenth position on the international squash circuit last month. This was her career’s highest reward till date. But on Thursday she has moved a place up to be 14th in the women's world rankings. She is under training in Australia with coach and five-time World Champion Sarah Fitz-Gerald. The upward move is attributed for making to the final at the Tournament of Champions in New York last week

India's Dipika Pallikal, who has been top-seeded in the World junior individual championship, will strive to create history by winning the women's title. Dipika is fast emerging as a squash superstar. Earlier, she had steadily been gaining points in the world junior circuit ever since she had the rare distinction of being the first Indian squash player to be ranked No. 1 in the European and Asian rankings in the under-15 category. In the history of the championship, India's Joshna Chinappa has the best results having lost in the 2005 title clash at Herentals (Belgium) to Egypt's Raneem el-Weleily.
