HC adjourns hearing on Gali petition

The High Court today adjourned till Nov 24 hearing on the petition filed by the main accused in the illegal mining case Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother-in-law Mr BV Srinivasa reddy seeking to quash the FIR filed by the CBI against them.

The high court will take up on the same day the petition filed by the CBI seeking the custody of Gali Janardhan reddy for further interrogation.  The CBI counsel completed their arguments today in the court.

Rajagopal petitions in CBI court

The special CBI court at Hyderabad adjourned till tomorrow hearing on the petitions filed by the former mining department director Mr Rajagopal seeking bail and A category prisoner status in the jail. He is presently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail.

“I hail from a high class family and worked all these years without resorting to corruption. I am not feeling healthy also. Please allow me A class status at least considering my health problems,” he pleaded in his petition. (JUBS)
