Mohali ODI a subtle point to prove for both teams

Well the Mohali ODI today is going to be litmus test to both the teams whether Team India will prove its revenge with a 3-0 win or will the English team devise an out of the world strategy to beat the former world champions in their own backyard is a million dollar question at the moment, but answer is sure to dawn as the night approaches.

So both the teams are going into their third clash in the ODI series with a revenging attitude at the Mohali stadium in Chandigarh. One of India's finest cricket stadia, is known for its pace and bounce that subsides as the match progresses, making the affair an even contest. The curator Daljit Singh admitted that dew might play a major role on Thursday.

The seamers are on top of their game and spinners raring to go. India has given a much better show in the fielding department too than their counterparts. If mastering the conditions is the name of the game, Indians have a big edge. England, on their part, have looked out of sorts. This could be their chance to get back on track. This wicket is pacer friendly and has plenty of runs in it as well. English batsmen hope to pull it off, they just need to go the extra mile.

But the guests have devised newer strategies to win over the hosts, in a stunning revelation to the Sun newspaper England's left-arm spinner of Indian origin Samit Patel has admitted that on-field verbal duels with Indian players have continued from the last series. Patel was quoted by The Sun newspaper that they will carry on sledging in an attempt to "get the Indians out of their comfort zone."

So it is their strategies versus our execution at Mohali, interesting match on cards for the 30,000+ inside the stadium and millions watching it on small screens. Let the best win but it’s going to be runs, runs, runs all over.
