Are you someone who love to eat your bacon and wouldn't mind driving in it too? Then Ford has something for you.
The car manufacturer announced on Wednesday that it will be selling vinyl strips of bacon to embellish its 2014 Fiestas. Call it a “porky prank” or a “crispy slice of publicity”, the American car major has surely found out a way to give its car some boost.
Talking about it's meaty move, Ford spokesman Dan Mazei said, "It's obviously kooky and a little irreverent. But that was kind of the point. We thought it was a really cool way to show off how to personalize your car."
Mazei explained it chose the Fiesta because it was a rage among millennial, a demographic looking for something different. The new bacon-wrapped Fiesta will be launched on International Bacon Day.
The custom-graphic "pièce de résistance," Ford said, is the full “Bacon Wrap,” consisting of 10 giant strips.
