India Beat Australia By 31 Runs In First Test:- Though Team India tumbled down on day one of the first test, they soon bounced back and stood strong and ended up winning the first test against Australia by 31 runs. After scoring 250 in their first innings, India restricted Australia for 235 and managed to make 307 in their second innings. Australia needed 323 runs to win the first test and they could not stand before Indian bowling and tumbled down for 291 in the second innings.
India won the first test by 31 runs and took the lead by 1-0 in the four match series. Before this Pujara (71), Rahane (70), KL Rahul (44) and Kohli (34) managed to get decent score in the second innings. Among Australian batsmen Shaun Marsh (60) and Tim Paine (41) are the leading run scorers. Burmah (3/68), Ashwin (3/92) and Shami (3/65) have been decent among the Indian bowlers. The second test between India and Australia will take place on December 14th.
