Asia Cup 2018 Squad: Virat Kohli Rested:- The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) announced the squad of Team India for the prestigious Asia Cup 2018 today. Skipper Virat Kohli has been asked to take rest because of his strained schedules. Rohit Sharma will lead the team and Asia Cup 2018 has been scheduled to take place in UAE from September 18th. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan will be the other teams fighting with India. The 16-member squad of India has been announced today.

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, Khaleel Ahmed are the players who are in the squad. Dinesh Karthik will be taking the reserve spot as keeper. 20-year-old pacer Khaleel Ahmed from Rajasthan made it for the first time into the team Indian squad.
