Notice to PK makers

The Delhi High Court has served notices to Aamir Khan's 'PK' filmmakers after a novelist accused the director and producer of the movie of plagiarising certain portion of content from his book 'Farishta' that was published in the year 2013. The author is identified as Kapil Isapuri and sought a damage of Rs one crore along with credit for his work from the filmmakers.

The court has asked producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani to appear before it on April 16th and record the evidence to regards to the allegations made. Right from the day one of its release, 'PK' movie is getting involved in some or the other controversy. Firstly the religious group vandalised the theatres where 'PK' was screen and few even moved to court. But in a boarder perspective the judges have declined the pleas based on religious sentiments.
