Australian batsman David Warner has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee during the Sunday's ODI against India. Warner had a verbal argument with India's Rohit Sharma during the 23rd over and as per the on field umpires, Warner breached the moral code of conduct. Rohit took an overthrow run and Australia was disappointed with this act as they believed that the ball hit the batsman. Warner walked down to Rohit and had a word.
However, the Australian batsman defended his stand and even coach Darren Lehman backed Warner. In the Sunday's ODI, Australia chased 268 with six balls to spare. Rohit Sharma hit a remarkable 136 but was not quite enough to put the host under pressure. Mitchell Starc took six wickets while Aaron Finch was the top scorer for Australia with 96.
