Rajya Sabha MP T Subbarami Reddy has been re-elected as treasurer and another MP Rajiv Shukla has been elected as secretary for the Congress Parliamentary Party which has 112 MPs in the Lower and Upper Houses. Subbarami Reddy will chair the treasurer post of Congress party for the second time in a row and he expressed happiness over re-electing him.

Subbarami Reddy has been representing Congress party in Rajya Sabha from 2002. He was re-elected for the third time earlier this year. He served as minister of state for mines between 2006 and 2008.
