The launch of rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle [PSLV-C23] lifted off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 9.52 AM today in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PSLV carried five satellites out of which four are from foreign countires. French Earth Observation Satellite SPOT-7, AISAT of Germany, NLS7.1 [CAN-X4] & NLS7.2 [CAN-X5] of Canada and VELOX-1 of Singapore are the satellites launched.
