Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy gets a Huge Relief:- On Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh High Court granted conditional anticipatory bail to Macherla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, TDP and YSRCP candidates for Tadipatri Assembly constituency JC Asmith Reddy and Kethireddy Pedda Reddy, YSRCP nominee for Narasaraopet Assembly constituency Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy, and TDP pick for Denduluru Assembly constituency Chintamaneni Prabhakar. The court has ordered officials not to take any action against these candidates until June 6th. All candidates had filed anticipatory bail petitions in the High Court. The police department was directed to provide full details in all the anticipatory bail petitions filed by the candidates. Justice Pratapa Venkata Jyothirmai instructed the candidates to avoid staying in the constituencies where they have contested the elections until the counting is concluded. Furthermore, they were instructed not to move with more than four people and not to engage in any unlawful activity.

The petitioners must be constantly monitored by authorities, with a further hearing scheduled for June 6th. During the hearing, Niranjan Reddy, the advocate for Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, argued that the sections under which the case was filed were bailable. As per the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar's case, notices must be served to the accused under Section 41A in cases where punishment is less than seven years of imprisonment. The petitioner's counsel also cited the ECI's statement that Pinnelli would be arrested wherever he might be. They argued that the poll panel was acting as if it were above the Supreme Court, which is unprecedented. The petitioner's counsel urged the court to provide security to the MLA from arrest, stating that eight police teams from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were on the lookout for Pinnelli and his family members. If the candidate is arrested, he will not be able to appoint his agents on counting day and will suffer a loss. The counsel of other petitioners made similar arguments.

If anticipatory bail is granted without any conditions, there is a possibility that similar incidents of violence, like the ones that occurred on May 13, might happen again. Therefore, it is important to set certain conditions and hold the petitioners accountable for any such incidents. The High Court considered both sides of the argument and decided to grant conditional anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The case hearing has been adjourned to June 6. Justice Pratapa Venkata Jyothirmai has directed the petitioners not to attempt, influence the witnesses or involve in the cases that are registered against Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy.
