UP Government to Launch a Portal for Ayodhya Virtual Deepotsav:- Diwali is one of the biggest festivals that is celebrated across the country irrespective of religion and cast. With Diwali around next weekend, the government of Uttar Pradesh is all set to launch a web portal for virtual Deepotsav for Ayodhya temple. Their main theme is to light a virtual diya in this coronavirus pandemic. The residents of the temple town will light 5,51,000 earthen lamps on the evening of Diwali in the premises of the temple. The diyas will be lit at Ram Ki Pairi and all muts along with temples of Ayodhya. The government of Yogi Adityanath initiated a program of Ayodhya Deepotsav which holds a Guinness Record. Lakhs of diyas are lit every year.

The web portal will be launched on November 13th on the occasion of Diwali so that the people can participate in the event virtually. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too will participate in the virtual celebration. All the people of Ayodhya have been invited to take part in the ceremony. There are several restrictions imposed in Ayodhya considering the coronavirus pandemic. This Diwali is quite special as it comes after laying the foundation stone of Ram temple in August. The government of Uttar Pradesh requested the people to make the event successful. The security is beefed up considering Diwali in Ayodhya.
