NEET And IIT-JEE Dates Announced:- Several professional and competitive examinations in the country are postponed due to coronavirus. The Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the year 2020 are postponed again. Pokhriyal Nishank informed that IIT-JEE mains will be held between July 18th and 23rd in the country. NEET will be held on July 26th in the country. JEE Advanced will be held in the month of August. Pokhriyal Nishank interacted with the students live on social media. Pokhriyal Nishank also said that the syllabus would be reduced for the next academic year as the students lost enough time.

The JEE Mains and NEET 2021 will be conducted with a reduced syllabus informed Pokhriyal Nishank. All these exams are planned to be held in April and May respectively. The nation-wide lockdown is extended till May 17th after which the new dates were announced today. Nine lakh students have been applied for JEE Mains and 15.93 lakh students applied for NEET 2020. The National Testing Agency recently announced that the online application form editing option is extended and the students are asked to choose the examination center of their choice. The Minister also answered several questions asked by the students during the discussion.
