TSRTC Strike: No Prominent Solution Found:- After the employees and the JAC of TSRTC threatened to go on an indefinite strike for the government not resolving their issues, Telangana government stepped down to respond and the meeting took place on Wednesday. The JAC members met the officials of Telangana and the meeting turned out to be unsuccessful. The JAC members and the officials will meet once again this afternoon for a possible solution on various issues. Telangana government promised to form a panel to look into the demands of the employees.

A three-member committee of IAS officials has been formed to consider the demands of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). KCR requested the employees to drop their plans of strike considering the Dasara holiday season and to prevent the losses of TSRTC. KCR asked the employees to avoid inconvenience for the people during the holiday season. TSRTC employees have been demanding about merging it into the government and they mounted pressure after AP Government announced the merger of APSRTC.

The meeting continued till night after it started at 4 PM. The formed committee will examine the demands and they will come up with a possible solution. The cabinet has also decided to constitute eight permanent cabinet sub-committees to advise the government from time to time.
