Dilip Kumar Battling Renal Failure

Dilip Kumar Battling Renal Failure:- Veteran actor and yesteryear Bollywood Superstar Dilip Kumar has been rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai on Wednesday after he fell ill. He has been battling with kidney failure informed the doctors on Thursday. The senior actor is 94-years old now and was admitted into the hospital after he complained of dehydration along with urinary complications. He was to undergo dialysis during the evening. Though initially he was admitted into the ward, Dilip Kumar has been shifted later to ICU after he has been battling with renal failure.

The urinary problems prevailed after which he has been moved to ICU informed the doctors. Ajay Kumar Pandey, the vice president of Lilavati Hospitals said “Dilip Kumar has been battling renal failure and the kidney functions are yet to turn normal. His condition is closely monitored by a team of doctors and the process of dialysis is yet to be started. A team of nephrologists and physicians lead by Dr Jalil Parkar and cardiologist Dr Nitin Gokhale are monitoring Dilip Kumar”. However the authorities of the hospital refused to update about the status of Dilip Kumar’s health more.

A source informed that the creatinine levels have been rising and there has been no improvement in the status of his health after he has been admitted. If the functions of his kidneys deteriorate, it would be more difficult which will lead to more complications. These situations heart and lungs get affected as the toxins build up in the body. The doctors are in hope that the kidneys regain their functionality at the earliest.

Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu revealed that he was doing good yesterday. Bollywood along with Dilip Kumar’s fans have been praying for his recovery. Hope the legendary actor recovers soon.
