ACB Raid On AP Industries Additional Director House:- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today unearthed unaccounted wealth and assets worth several crores from AP additional director with Industries and Commerce Department, Bayyavarapu Sureshbabu(56).
The raids have been started today early morning. Simultaneous searches are being conducted at the main house and four other places related to the accused officer in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Guntur and two places in Vijayawada. The houses of the family members and close associates of Sureshbabu are also being raided by the ACB.
According to sources, by far the ACB have discovered unaccounted wealth of nearly Rs. 30 to 40 crores. Huge amounts of gold and some key documents would come out, if his lockers and his benamis are accessed, the officials said.
Suresh Babu has been recently transferred from Hyderabad and is yet to get a new posting. The reason for his transfer too is that he was demanding huge amounts as graft to sanction units.
