Bengaluru: 2 Unidentified Persons Fire at APMC President’s Car, 1 Killed

In a shocking incident, two unidentified came on the bike and fired at a car in Kogilu cross in the broad day light on Friday afternoon. According to the initial information by the police, some people were travelling in the car and were injured. They were immedietly rushed to the nearby private hospital for the treatment.

The Yelahanka police got the information about the shootout at around 12:10 pm by the commuters. The police on reaching the spot found that two came on Pulsar bike covering their faces wearing helmet. They followed a car heading towards city from Kogilu cross. They stopped the vehicle and opened the fire.

The culprits wanted to kill the APMC President Kadubale Srinivas. They fired three rounds of bullets. The culprits followed Srinivas from morning 8:30 am from near his house. He was travelling in the government car.

It is also believed that one person died on the spot. The miscreants fled from the spot after they opened the fire. The Yelahanka police along with senior officials reached the spot along with forensic experts and the dog squad. The police have also formed special team to nab the miscreants and verify the CCTV footage in the surrounding. Police are expecting that Srinivas had a financial dispute with few people which might have led to this incident.
