Mudragada Padmanabham Announce Indefinite Hunger Strike

To get justice for Farmer’s reservation, BC leader Mudragada Padmanabham has announced an indefinite hunger strike on Thursday.

He even added that even if he gets arrested and put in jail, he will continue to do hunger strike till the decision is in his community favour.

Padmanabham also demanded the government that all the BC community people should get suitable jobs.

Few months back, around seven people were arrested for burning train and attacking police station in East Godavari district.

Due to which Padmanabham demanded the release of those accused and warned that he would continue the hunger strike till his demands are fulfilled. East Godavari District SP has been reviewing the status from time to time.

On the other hand, all the media vehicles were restricted to be near the premises of Padmanabham house. This situation outside the leaders house is stated to be tensed.

Padmanabham even accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for conspiring against him.

The whole Kapu agitation started in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh with massive agitation by the community for 'reservation' . It situation turned violent after that destruction of public property and this caused grievous injuries to the police and railway personnel.

Section 144 and 30 of the IPC were imposed in the East Godavari District prohibiting any kind of meetings or congregations. Even a Rapid Action Force was called from Delhi to bring the situation to back to normalcy.

Based on video footage, protesters were identified and police planned to book cases on them.
