Breaks to I Release!

The Madras High Court has imposed a stay on the most anticipated film 'I' which stars Vikram and Amy Jackson. The film was scheduled to release for Pongal on January 15th  but now will have to wait for the court orders. Picturehouse Media Limited has filed a suit in the court which claimed that producer of the film Aascar Ravichandran has borrowed Rs 15 crore for the production of the film in February 2013 and signed an agreement that he will payback the amount before the release of the film.

The court has passed interim orders restraining the producers from release anywhere in the country and outside the country too till January 30th . A total of Rs 17.5 crores needed to be paid by Aascar Films to Picturehouse Media. But according to the sources, Aascar Ravichandran is heard to be going ahead with film's release as per the mentioned date i,e. on January 15th.

'I' is directed by Shankar. The teaser, trailer have garnered good response and the movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the film's theatrical release.
