Ram Charan's 7 Competes with Mahesh Babu's 1

No.7 is usually taken as an unlucky number by all.  But the movie 'Yevadu' is Ram Charan's movie No. 7 in Telugu which is treated as a lucky number for heroes.  Pawan Kalyan, NTR and Mahesh Babu gained stardom with their 'Kushi', 'Simhadri' and 'Okkadu' which were their seventh films.

That way, Ramcharan’s ‘Yevadu’ should get enough luck to him to wipe off the irritating ‘Thoofan’ aftermath effect.    The movie ‘Yevadu’ is getting ready to hit the screens during Sankranti.

Mahesh Babu’s ‘1’ Nenokkadine is also preparing for its Sankranti release.  It is not that Ram Charan needs luck now to get stardom!  He has already got it with his second movie Magadheera to break the records of which the Telugu industry took four years until Pawan Kalyan made it with his recent Attarintiki Daredi which is completing 50 days within two days.

In fact, Yevadu will be Ramcharan’s 8th movie if you take Hindi version ‘Zanjeer’ into account.  But it is 7 if you count only Telugu movies. Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu is No.7 if you eliminate his film contributions as child artist in 9 movies.  If you consider them also it will be No.16 which again is 7 (1+6) as per numerology.  Similarly, Simhadri is NTR’s 7th film if you do not consider his two films as child artist.

This number game only satisfies an idle mind. Only encouraging news is that Ramcharan’s ‘Yevadu’ and Mahesh Babu’s ‘1’ are going to make the Sankranti festival meaningful for cine lovers.  The competition is only in alluring the audience.  How many crores the movies make is something the producers, buyers and exhibitors to calculate but not the cinema audience.
