Union Minister Chiranjeevi took up the task of campaigning for Congress Party for the Assembly elections in the State of Karnataka that pulled mobs greeing him with cheers.

He toured the places of Bellari, Hospeta, Gouribidanuru, Chickballapur, Kolar and other places in the State of Karnataka where the campaigning attracted not only Telugu people but also Kannada speaking natives too. It is awe to find the mobs pressing forward where ever Chiru has gone and it is a record breaker for a politician of the neighboring State to attract local voters. It is opined by the political pandits that the clean image and also his cine glamor is going to win voters for Congress party.

Chiranjeevi altogether is a different personality compared to the existing politicians. He is a self made politician to serve people leaving his lucrative film industry. He denied his 150th film as he wanted to focus totally on politics which is a service to the society for him but not a means to earn money. He did not need political arena to earn as he was successfully doing a roaring business in the film industry image of which still makes all call him Mega Star even after his taking a new avatar in politics leaving the cinema.

He faced criticism from all directions for merging his party with Congress Party. But it was a bold step. He was high command for his own party but by merging it with Congress Party he became a junior leader. Politicians try to push forward to get higher positions and when they do not get it from the party, they tend to form a new party to become its chief. But contrary to that Chiranjeevi lost his supremacy to merge with the existing Party that is ruled from the Center which made him small in the line of seniors of the party. Knowing all this fully well Chiranjeevi went in to Congress Party as he saw an opportunity to serve people in a far better way than as a chief of a new born party.

Finding Chiranjeevi with discipline and willingness to work, the Center gave him and his followers good positions in the Government at Center and also at the State level which could have used only for making thousands of crores of rupees if it were some body else in his place but Chiru seem to concentrate on positive development instead

A person who thinks that he knows everything always closes him self and never learns. Right from the day one, Chiranjeevi accepted the fact that he is new to politics and a lot is to be learnt. This too was a bold statement and also indicative of his eagerness to learn to serve better. The way he took reins of the ministry given to him and held meetings in the State to promote tourism is a swift movement in direction of progress.

People of Andhra Pradesh are looking forward to see that Chiranjeevi attains a Mega Leader position to super impose the existing Mega Star picture in their minds and hearts.
