Indian Scientists Testing On A Multi-Purpose Vaccine For Coronavirus:- The Indian scientists are in search for a multi-purpose vaccine to fight against coronavirus that also will be effective against leprosy and that can boost up immunity. Dr Shekhar Mande, the Director-General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research said that they are in testing mode after they received the approval of the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). He said that it can be used to fight against leprosy. He said that the research is going on and it is a lengthy process.

Shekhar Mande said that they are waiting for some more approvals. "Once they are approved, some more trials will be initiated," said Shekhar Mande. The World Health Organization (WHO) recently said that finding the right vaccine for coronavirus will take at least 12 months. Several countries like USA and China are working on the vaccine to fight against coronavirus. As per the current records, over 13000 people are infected with coronavirus currently and 437 people died in India. Shekhar Mande also said that several prestigious institutions across the globe are working on finding the vaccination for coronavirus.
