Highlights: AP Budget 2019-20:- Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions kick-started yesterday and the state's Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy presented the budget for the state in the house today. Here are the highlights of the state's budget for 2019-20:
The total proposed budget is said to be Rs 2,27,974.99 crores for the financial year 2019-20. This is 19.32 percent higher than the previous budget of Andhra Pradesh.
The revenue expenditure is estimated at Rs 1,80,475.94 crore.
The capital expenditure is Rs 32,293.39 crore.
The fiscal deficit is estimated as 3.30% and revenue deficit is 0.17%.
Under YSR Rythu Bharosa, the farmer is paid Rs 8750 crores and nine hours free power supply.
Price Stabilization fund is said to be Rs 3000.
Rs 11,399 crores is allocated for the health sector.
Rs 3617 crores for the Housing Department.
Education Department is given Rs 32,618 crores and Rs 77.67 crores for cultural affairs department.
Rs 15,061 crores for BC subplan and Rs 6157 crores for transport department.
Welfare department gets Rs 14,142 crores.
Drinking water corporation gets Rs 2234 crores.
Rural development gets Rs 29,329 crores and Rs 6587 crores for urban development.
Rs 1000 crores has been allocated for bailing out APSRTC.
Rs 6455 crores have been allocated for Amma Vodi scheme.
Rs 1740 crores for YSR Arogyasri scheme.
Rs 2,000 crore has been set aside for Kapu welfare.
