Rajinikanth Not To Contest In Lok Sabha Polls:- Superstar Rajinikanth has been in plans to float his own political party and contest in the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu. He met his fans several times from various districts and collected the feedback from various sets of fans. Rajinikanth on several occasions informed that he would announce his next project at the right time. The latest update is that Rajinikanth will not contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls and he will not support any political party in the polls.

As per the statement from Rajini Makkal Mandram at his Poes Garden residence, Rajinikanth said, "I will not be contesting in the upcoming Parliamentary polls. Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election is our goal". Rajinikanth issued a strong statement that he would not support any party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He wanted the problem of water scarcity to be resolved first and he said that he would fight for the issue. Rajinikanth earlier made comments on several political parties but he is clear on not supporting anyone as of now.
