Heavy Rains Lash Mumbai:- Heavy rains in Mumbai lashed the city and the outskirts of the city this morning. A road over-bridge collapsed in Andheri which left troubling the Western Railways' local trains that connects the city. Several flights coming to Mumbai have been diverted due to the bad weather conditions. The Meteorological department announced heavy rains for Mumbai in the next 24 hours.

A road over-bridge collapsed on the rail trucks in Andheri because of the heavy rains which affected some of the local trains. Six people were injured in the incident and no loss of life has been reported. The city witnessed waterlogging in the low-lying areas of Hindmata, Sion, Nehru Nagar, Parel, Wadala, Dharavi, Mulund and Andheri because of the huge downpour. A double-decker bus crashed into an overhead railing near Kalina. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been taking special measures during this season and they asked the people to be quite careful.
