Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA, Revanth Reddy, came down heavily on a few newspapers for spreading baseless rumors, following reports that the Telangana TDP Working President and TDP MLA, would soon quit TDP, and join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Lashing out at the newspapers, Revanth stated, they are acting at the behest of government, and he further denied of joining BJP.

Revanth said that, the decision lies with BJP National President, Amit Shah, and it would be discussed by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Amit Shah. He also pointed at AP, where BJP is part of the ruling government headed by TDP.

Revanth, further, exposing the double standards of the BJP, said, “Amit Shah criticizes of KCR's family rule in Telangana and the next day Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya garlands KCR, KTR and says their ruling as best.”

“Amit Shah even laments of corruption in Telangana, and in contrary, Bandaru Dattatreya praises Irrigation Minister, Harish Rao over Irrigation and water-grid and felicitates him, said Revanth Reddy.”

“First BJP leaders should stop their double standards and take a clear stand against Telangana Rashtra Samthi (TRS) in Telangana.”

Revanth Reddy further stated, that, he is keen on joining all the forces, against KCR and TRS in Telangana.

As per rumors, Amit Shah, who is set to visit Hyderabad today, is expected to have a private meeting with Revanth. However, Revanth had, several times, condemned that he would not quit TDP, that gave him a life.
