Amaravathi core capital plan reaches AP

Singapore officials reached Rajahmundry today and submitted Amaravathi core capital plan to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government, partnered with the Singapore government for constructing the world class capital, near Vijayawada in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Finally a plan related to the AP capital at Amaravathi had reached the state. Along with Ishwaran, a senior minister for trade and industry, a group of 30 members have reached Rajamundry in Andhra Pradesh.

Aerial survey in Amaravathi core capital construction region

The Singapore officials will be conducting an aerial survey along with Chief Minister Naidu in the capital region. The overall master plan was already handed over to Naidu in May by the Singapore officials. The core capital plan of Amaravathi is submitted today.

What does Amaravathi core capital plan consist of?

This core capital is all about planning for the construction of government buildings like Raj Bhavan, secretariat and assembly. However, according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, the union government has to provide the financial support for the construction of these buildings. As of now, the Central government has allocated Rs 1500 crore for the AP capital construction.

Andhrawishesh view:

It seems, Naidu is in a thought of completing the first phase of capital construction by 2019 elections, so that it would be a strong point to attract the voters again. However, the people would not mind to vote for a right leader again and again if he is found to be capable.
