The State Board of Technical Education and training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, has announced Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) notification for the year 2015-2016.

Eligibility criteria :

Should be passes SSC or its equivalent which is to be recognized by the board of secondary education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad

Process to Apply : 

Candidates can obtain online applications at various AP online/Helpline centres/ through payment gate way. The detailed list of these centres is available at sbtetap.gov.in

Applicants shall pay the examination fee Rs.330 to the AP online centre operator to file the application.

Later based on the performance of the candidates in the POLYCET exam, the selection will take place for the Diploma courses in Engineering and Non Engineering / Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Un aided Private Polytechnics/ Institutions running as 2nd shift in private Engineering colleges for the academic year 2015-2016.   

Few of the important dates to remember regarding the exam : 

Commencement of sale of POLYCET booklet along with the application (Booklet cost including Application Form Rs.20)  :  26th April

Commencement of filing of online application form Rs.330 from Helpline centres/ Aponline centres /Through payment gate way: 26th April, 2015

Last date for sale of POLYCET booklet and filing of online application: 11th May, 2015

Date and Time of POLYCET-2015: 29th May, 2015, From 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM
